Setup by Step - set up TWINT for E-commerce

Integrate your online store using the Setup Assistant.

In the Setup Assistant, you will be guided with the first few steps of setting up your Wallee account and space. You will begin by selecting the payment methods you wish to offer in your online store. 

The following section will be the integration to your online store. Select the shop system you are using and follow the necessary steps for the integration.

Create a TWINT account

The creation of the TWINT account is simple and works within minutes. In the TWINT account you define the logo of your store and where the money should be sent to. Have a look at the TWINT configuration documentation for more details. 

After this process you will get a Merchant-UUID that is needed in wallee to activate your TWINT processor. 

Configure TWINT as a processor.

If you haven't already selected TWINT in the Payment section, you can configure TWINT separately as a processor. Navigate to the Payment/Configuration/Processors. You should already see the payment methods listed there which you have pre-selected in the Setup Assistant. 

If you have an active TWINT account, you can select "Production" in the next step, and enter your Merchant-UUID in the field that you received from the setup above. If you are waiting for your account to be activated, you can activate TWINT at a later stage, and leave the settings here at "Sandbox".

Activate your TWINT processor

All that is left now is to switch to live to accept real payments in your store. Navigate to Payment/Configuration/Processors and select TWINT. Activate your TWINT by clicking "Switch to Live".

Your payment method is now ready to accept live payments in your online store.
